I’ll be honest… I underestimated the Galaxy Z Fold 8. When Samsung first announced the Galaxy Z Fold 8, I thought it was just the smaller alternative to the Ultra. A phone that looked cool, but one I’d eventually move on from. I couldn’t have been more wrong.
So this isn’t going to be a spec-by-spec review of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 because you’ve probably seen enough of those already. I want to tell you what it’s actually like to live with the Z Fold 8, what surprised me the most, what still needs work, and whether I think it’s worth $1,900. Let’s get into it.

We are now paying phone brands like apple snd Samsung premium prices for used and recycled parts from traded in devices. Apple has been supplying customers with used parts and components from traded in devices and charging steady prices. Now that it’s getting greedy and the biggest Fraud in technology companies till date. Apple and Samsung have consistently fooled customers making them believe the iPhone they bought are new. Whereas, it’s the contrary, only the hardware is sometimes new, internal components and even the cameras are recycled. Not one person has verified whether the 3nm and 4nm and this new 2nm are actually as claimed. Yet we take their words for it. Only for them to pay off @jerryrigseveeything a favorable destruction and pretending on other occasions. Jerry or Zach cannot tell if the cameras we get in new devices are new or not. Zach doesn’t know jack as to if 2nm is the same as 3nm. How does phone brands we measure and find these things?
iPhone ultra has 48mp duo cameras…..from traded in iPhones! Samsung z fold 8 has cameras from traded in older models. They want $2k plus for recycled phones components! That’s how Chump Napping Donald tantrum got richer. Aside from monied daddy left him when he died miserably for a wealthy man! 😅
I've had the fold 8 for a week coming from the fold 7. I actually don't like it. I'm going to return it. I do find the fact that it doesn't auto rotate easily no matter what I do or try and set incredibly irritating. And oddly it is less comfortable to hold in portrait. The speakers being on the sides at the end is a mistake for the other mode when you rotate it. There are some lovely things about it of course. But I also find the screen not very responsive when you click on things and that blows my mind. So don't believe all the hype on these podcasts.
How did you put that background with the clock behind the character?
I have an iPhone 17pro I rly want a flip phone tho should I make the switch or should I wait and see if iPhone is dropping a fold phone in September?

Hi, what does it feel like when using the swipe-to-text feature on the main screen and when unfolded? Does anyone use this feature or am I the only one using it? 😅 I haven't seen a single review that mentioned it. If anyone tried using this feature in split screen, is there an option to make the keyboard just be on one side so I can swipe-to-text using only one hand?
I guess this time folds lost the privacy display function which would have been great I guess future folds might get that🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Just ordered today delivery won't be until September 11!!!!! But I was able to bundle it with the Galaxy buds 4 pro after discounts and trade s23 ultra $1658 shipped. I will miss my Bluetooth spen😢 but the bundle deal was to good to pass up.

got mine today and im loving it, paid £994 instead of the insane £1699, used all the codes i had from samsungs website. Got the green one, its amazing.
I'm loving my z fold 8 so far, but I'm really considering returning it because of the cameras. I knew it wasn't going to be the same as my s25 ultra, but I just went to a concert last night, and the cameras really are that bad to where I'm not sure the trade off for this form factor is worth it. This is a tough one.

Love how the Fold 8 looks, but there's just a little too much compromise for me to spend $1900 on it. I'm a patient man, I'll wait to see what improvements come with the Fold 9.

I saw someone else called the ZFold8 the ZFlip8 Ultra and thinking about it that actually makes more sense than the naming convention that Samsung went with.
Coming from the 6, that hole punch will be the most difficult to get used to…
I remember when I was traveling from my country to Spain where (and only there) was Huawei Mate 10 (not pro just mate 10) which was significally wider than pro. And I loved this ratio. No w I see Samsung made it even better. With Iphone folded I think there will be new era when smartphones made like skyscppers will not be best selling ones.
I had the fold 7 for $25 a month from trading in my iPhone 15 pro max. I traded in the fold 7 to get the Samsung s26U for free, literally $0 a month. I just had to pay sales tax. Now AT&T has another offer where I can trade in my s26U to get the new fold 8 for free as well 😂 I'm considering it. But I love the s26 ultra, the battery on the fold 7 and slow charging was the biggest downfall and it seems like they improved both of those

This phone is absolute amazing, loved this format, way more comfortable to use, has a great style, as a Z Flip user, I might buy it soon, I'm gonna wait for the prices go down, I live in Brazil so this phone is costs so much
Every phone manufacturer released after 2021 has been stagnant. Fold 8 is the first smartphone in recent years that actually made me want to buy a new phone, not because I have to.

love the shape of the fold 8 but the down grade in cameras back didn't convince me to get it. so I bought the ultra for my first ever foldable after many years of putting it off.
That humungous inner punch hole camera gotta go. I just can't get over that. Been a fold owner since the 3..then the 4, then the 6.
