Only the pundits said we are going up. Nuno has thrown away 3 x 2-0 leads by going defensive. He also threw away 22 points from winning positions last year. All because he goes defensive every time we lead
Watched Cardiff Wrexham both would tear West ham a new one and Nuno has to ditch this low block football because in the championship it's a no go,you deploy that then your opponent will immediately bring on another attacker and swarm all over you, he has to learn quickly or he's gone before Christmas garaunteed
Nuno is not the right manager for us
Be a tough season ahead mate.
I mean, it was a grind under pardew in the second tier for nearly two seasons
We have been relegated a few times now so i dont get why fans from other clubs are taking the bait from west ham fans saying we are going straight back up. We have learned from past relegaions its never going to be easy. Look at the final againts blackpool we were very lucky to win that final
Nuno IN
We have a much better chance now that we have Hercule Piroe with us ⚒️
The arrogance of london clubs. The way almost every one thinks & speaks its like west ham will win every game 3 nil with over 100 point finishing automatic promotion.
Its just rude & disrespectful to the cship division.
Such over confidence & self entitlement will kill the club even further.
Zian Flemming will not go to another Championship club. He wants Premiership football.
Bowen player/Manager.
We could and should really smash this league but Nuno does some stupid stuff that messes it all up. Too many points dropped from winning positions last Season and if he does it again this Season, we will just about make the play-offs. I have no idea why he does what he does when there's no need. This is the Championship, not the Prem, we should be attacking all of the teams in this division and putting them to the sword!
Pards can’t even say the players names right let alone give commentary on how Nuno was dropping points to prove a point we need signings!!
The only people saying we’d go straight back up & it will be easy we’re idiots
The espirito is poor at West Ham. 😂
Predictable with this fan base already a sizeable meltdown… Many already saying Nuno has to go 😆 it's so embarrassing… Let's look at this like grown ups, Burnley were a fellow relegated side and playing at home. This was not a team who finished in the bottom half of the Championship last season, it was a tough game. It is also the first game of what is to be a very long season. We started the match with Ollie Scarles, Lewis Orford and Mo Kante. With respect to the three, come 4-5 weeks I doubt they will be regulars. If Diouf is to be sold, we need to bring in an experienced left back and once Tomas Soucek is back fit he will be alongside Engels a lot of the time. I also expect a further CM to come in on loan, if we see Alvarez and Magassa leave. Solomon was a real positive, a right bag of tricks on the left side causing issues and this was just his first game in a new team, with new players. The team is also severely lacking as a squad, I thought Taty and Pablo were both poor yesterday and there is no back up there currently. Also, Solomon and Bowen there are no alternative options. I also feel like Burnley had all but given up and were chalking the day up as 'not to be our day' before the gift of a penalty that brought them back in to the game and totally changed the momentum. If that mistake did not happen, we see out the three points. It's disappointing we didn't, as it would have been nice to win the game having been quite poor, especially in the second half, because lets face it the performance and squad is so evidently in need of further additions. If we keep the two forwards and are most of the time gonna play two up top, arguably we could do with two strikers to come in, not just one. But if they both stay lets assume that is one striker the club bring in. We need another left winger and another right winger. That takes the total to three. We have two senior centre backs, so most would say we need to bring in two centre backs. That is already 5 players. If we lose Aaron Wan-Bissaka, we have Veltman, but possibly they may look for one more utility man. If Diouf goes we will need another LB and if Areola is shipped out, another GK. If Alvarez, Magassa leave we may need another CM. Lay it all out and we likely still need to make between 6-9 signings and have 15 1/2 days to do it in.
If Burnley had finished better they would have won hammers will go straight up though
Hopefully both Clubs will go upi automatically, but they are now saying Clubs need to spend north of £215M to say up, or go bust trying !
Come back Alan all is forgiven !!!!
Alan Pardew still thinks Hull are in the Championship..How is this guy still a pundit the clown 🤡
Is Pardew ok? he seemed very strange like he was struggling to get his words out
