Yes, I reposted the video; here's why. The original ended with me saying the Fold 8 is rated for 1,200 charge cycles vs 2,000 on the Fold 7, and mostly blaming the new silicon-carbon battery for it. The numbers are real, they're from Samsung's own EU info. The problem is the blame can't be pinned confidently on silicon carbon, because the S26 lineup is also rated 1,200 cycles and that uses regular lithium-ion batteries. Samsung dropped the rating on everything this year and never said why – some say it's due to tighter EU regulations, but tough to say for certain.
