  1. Yes, I reposted the video; here's why. The original ended with me saying the Fold 8 is rated for 1,200 charge cycles vs 2,000 on the Fold 7, and mostly blaming the new silicon-carbon battery for it. The numbers are real, they're from Samsung's own EU info. The problem is the blame can't be pinned confidently on silicon carbon, because the S26 lineup is also rated 1,200 cycles and that uses regular lithium-ion batteries. Samsung dropped the rating on everything this year and never said why – some say it's due to tighter EU regulations, but tough to say for certain. You can find the video I'm referencing under the title (it's unlisted).

  2. I tested it in the store, and even while watching YouTube videos, there are still gaps at the top and bottom, believe me. Moreover, it's unnecessarily expensive; I'm sure it will drop to half price in a few months. It's 2026, and the front screen bezels are too thick. Let's say they have excuses for the thickness of the inner screen, but the front screen bezel thickness is very jarring to the eye. They've used outdated front and inner cameras, and the two rear cameras are also very old. Samsung will probably use their existing camera stock until it runs out in their new devices. It's not worth that much money for just the processor. Despite using a silicon carbon battery, it's low-powered. It lags far behind its competitors in fast charging. By the way, there's no stylus support on such a device. Leaving everything else aside, why wouldn't they include stylus support? They can't criticize because they've signed contracts with all the YouTubers who do the reviews. They can only say they're confused about the camera; they don't even dare to share their shortcomings. If Huawei hadn't lost Google support, Samsung would have been wiped out of the phone market, because Samsung has long since stopped innovating and is now completely focused on reducing its inventory. While Chinese competitors are successively offering massive 1-inch sensors, 100W+ fast charging, and stunning bezel-less cover displays, Samsung keeps repackaging the same device under a different name and selling it to us every year. It's truly a shame; don't pay this much money for this treatment, don't pay for the brand name alone, not for the technology.

  3. "увидеть кремне углеродную батарею" так же надпись на батарее "li-ion" (литио-ионная)
