Anthropic’s S-1 filing shows it’s not going public out of desperation but, in fact, has a financial war chest, explains Gil Luria, managing director of D.A. Davidson. Luria explains why Anthropic’s structure as a public benefit corporation and its majority voting power controlled by a group of seven people make for a more complicated and unusual structure.

Potato video.
What is this guy talking about?😂
Wtf is this moron talking about, they have 800bn of non-cancellable capex for data centres they’ll arguably never need. The s1 income statement is worth as much as a skiddy sheet of toilet paper
1:20 good! I'm sick of companies that put short term profits before everything else
Bro lied in his very first sentence…wtf is this journalism. It should be criminal.
this is not a profitable company yet
If by ‘warchest’ you mean an $80B loss then … yeah 😂
This convertible notes net loss isn't a real loss but it represents $80 billion in dilution to the market, like new shares that can be dumped!!! This isn't good. The liquidity doesn't exist.
7 people decide what's good for humanity?
Holy moly.
Gil Luria’s analysis is completely inaccurate. He claims Anthropic is profitable , but a direct look at Anthropic’s actual SEC Form S-1 filing proves this is false.
Mainstream media complicit in the scam as always.
Luria is referencing Anthropic's core operating profitability and positive cash generation—specifically its Q2 operating income and gross margins—while distinguishing them from massive non-cash accounting charges tied to convertible securities. Obviously those criticizing him have no idea what THEY are talkng about.
Where, how and when does the cumulated cash flow into the company? Apart from the IPO, where, how and when will the net cash flow in.
Musk confirmed recently, the money spigot is running dry.
Torsten slok confirmed, llms aren't generating any returns for enterprise customers.
It seems the music is stopping
they didn't report the quarter from June to October LMFAO
A white shirt and a tie does not guarantee a profit
So you needed the S-1 to know this is a B-corp, which was known from its founding? Where have you been partying all this time? Why can't I be the highly paid talking head — because I am paying more attention than this guy is!
More like war chest for SpaceX 😂😂😂😂
He's the kinda guy who will still be pumping as things continue to go down. I'm quite sure the market already peaked. These Ai stocks are so dangerous, oil stocks are in a real bull market here. The wheels are slowly falling off this Ai bubble… Still no roi, and everyone needs even more money.
Meanwhile "coding has been solved" yet they have 100s of job openings for software engineers/developers…
