According to her account, she handed the phone to metro security personnel, but the man allegedly snatched it back and fled. She subsequently approached Kadugodi police station, where an FIR was registered based on her complaint.

Bengaluru City Police have confirmed that an investigation is underway. Sowpika later said investigators had identified a few people resembling the man seen in the video, with further action pending confirmation of the suspect’s identity.

  1. I'm shocked some men find nothing wrong in recording other people in public places. Who gives anyone the right to record someone else. Public places are places we are forced to move through from going to one place to another. It is not an option. I would be highly offended if someone decides to record me without my permission. How is this comparable to taking pictures of celebrities, you dimwitted people?
Indians have a long way to go before they can be called a civilized lot. Culturally there is no concept of privacy and space in India. Indians grow up with multiple people in their space and it is very common for couples to share supposedly private spaces with family members.

  2. I don't understand what's problem in public recording. In that case, shouldn't all these media also have FIR for recording celebrities and common people?

  3. may well be a insta drama. A group of people who looked like a family tried this on me in a KSRTC bus.
I immediately called the conductor and checked in his presense. As they could find nothing, they suddenly fell into completely silence for the rest of the journey

  4. Sister, don't say you were wearing this or that, because men blame women, their clothes, or alcohol for the crimes they commit. The problem is men and their parents, not you or your clothes
