Bloomfield Township residents raise question about e-bikes after crashes

Bloomfield Township police say what the 13-year-olds were riding yesterday appears to be an e-moto, which is actually supposed to be limited to private use and if you do have a street-legal one, you’d need to have a license.

  1. Extremely fast??? Super fast, So they are going 120 or 180 miles an hour. That is extremely fast, the news anchor says some go 75 miles an hour , I haven't seen anyone yet go that fast, you can probably buy them that fast, if you are rich!

  2. Way to common now, so let's strip rights and make money. Let's use kids being hurt and safety to manipulate the population so we can steal away rights liberties and freedom. Actually, freedom is just an illusion, they are just taking away the little bit of privileges and permissions we have left . We are nothing more than modern-day peasant tax slaves , Only in the land of the fee and the home of the enslaved do people believe in the illusion of freedom

  3. The bottom line is the kids should not have been on the motorbikes. Also you supposed to be a certain age to ride one. Both of the kids were 13 years old. And they weren't using safety equipment. Though I don't wish this happen to anyone at all, definitely this situation could have been avoided. I'm wondering what the parents are doing. Because first off the kids should not have access to those Moto Bikes.

  4. My car could go 110 mph but it doesn’t because I don’t want to. Same with e-bikes/e-trikes/e-scooters. As the man once said ‘Just because you can do something. It doesn’t mean you should.’
