🎬January 19th, 1991 – Operation “Desert Storm” over Iraq. Cut off in hostile airspace, Cpt. Cesar “Rico” Rodriguez and his wingman Cpt. Craig “Mole” Underhill find themselves in a deadly close-quarters aerial duel against the Iraqi Air Force’s finest fighters. A gripping, second-by-second tactical reconstruction of the legendary air combat that led to two of the most iconic MiG kills of the Gulf War.
🧐Disclaimer: to achieve the highest possible level of accuracy, this film combines assets from several DCS modules. Exterior shots were captured using the Flaming Cliffs F-15C, the pilot model comes from Heatblur’s F-4E Phantom, while the close-up shots on the stick and the throttle are taken from Razbam’s F-15E! AI was also used for some of the hand animations.

On the one turn, the Mig 29 Fulcrum should have gained on the 15, as you all know the Mig has tighter turn radius compared to the F15. In this case it truly was not the Jet but the Pilot. Very nice.
