I'm gonna point out no one should hold the 9V leads on both terminals of injectors for more than 500ms Max. With Bosch Style Fuel Injectors called EV1 which is the most common injectors are low impedance and can't handle continuous flow of current. The internal solenoid called a "coil" by many is a iron rod with pure oxygen free copper wire wrapped around it. This makes what's called a electromagnetic solenoid. Small current at 5V goes through the "Coil" creating a magnetic field that pulls the spindle needle back from seal which allows the pressurized fuel to shoot through.
The ECU in the vast majority of injectors only commands the valve open for 2-20ms (1 second = 1000ms). To give you an idea of how long that is, the fastest a human can possibly tap a wire to the ground end of 2/3 pin injectors is 100-200ms which is literally 100x longer than the ECM/ECU/PCM commands it at top temp.
During extreme cold cranking events the ECM/PCM commands it for a longer 50-80ms in a clear flood mode. Still far from harmful.
The absolute max time you should ever hold 9V and especially 12VDC on the injectors is 500ms or 0.5 Second. Remember the fastest human tap is up to 200ms. Holding it for continuous flow is not a good idea.
It can heat up the coil so much it will either burn it out or shorten it's life greatly or cause it to fail soon after.

So you know most EFI port injection Bosch Style injectors run at 12V, you can test with multimeter easily.
GDI though generally runs at 5V from ECM signal with ground control as switch to turn on and off the solenoid(Copper Magnetic Coil)
If you are working on GDI or Hybrid systems you need to have experience and protective equipment. Those run at 1000+ PSI because they are not in the port behind valves, they are inside combustion chambers and have to overcome the high temperatures, combustion gases and pressure m, so they can't atomize fuel at 40-60psi, they need to be at 600-1800psi.
It is better to use Brake Parts Cleaner than Carb cleaner. Carb and Choke cleaner has strong chemical solvents that quickly degrade plastics, rubber, and even Viton O-Rings (Viton is Ethenol resistant).
Do not take off spindle cap before spraying, you will blow out needle and ruin injectors. Keep old one on.
For Bosch Style injectors "EV1" there are rebuild kits with Viton O-Rings top and bottom, spacers, spindle caps, filter baskets all in one kit for $11

Instead of using tape…wrap tube with sewing thread building a mound of it to desired diameter…won't get soft/mushy like the tape does. 👍

Injectors can't be shorted to power like this guy does. Will destroy the electric windings in the injector. Better to just add techron fuel injector cleaner to your gas. And you won't be screaming because you burned up your injector following a really dumb YouTube video.
