It should have been covered with something similar to the plastic of the Nike Air max

These shoes kinda suck. They are so tight on the feet and not that comfortable
The 3d printed cushioning of my friend's shoes broke, like parts of it it ripped apart. Maybe he didn't took good care of them but still it might not be the the most durable shoe

I have the white and black ones. These shoes look cool but they have 0 support. Only wear them to enhance my outfit and then suffer from sore feet, ankles and toes later.

The 4d and strung sneakers seem inconsistent. Adidas also takes ages to exvhange to the point i now lost the 50% discount. The lattice system was gooey like it melted or didnt get enough time to cool off and the strung upper usually didnt allign properly on the back which had made me worried about inconsistencies in the support. From a technology standpoint im intrigued, but from a sneaker and a customer experience standpoint i am very disappointed. Expecting me to pay $300 when i had paid $150 after they sent me 2 pairs with defects…

I mean you can buy nike for 200$ and have glue leaking out everything side of the shoe. Quality on Nike is legendary bad. So i wouldn't care too much about this one

I've been using various 4D shoes like Ultra and 4DFWD3 for running, trails etc and lattice doesn't get dirt inside. It can get annoying if you walk on the beach so it will take a bit to knock all the sand out of the shoes 🙂 but that's the case with most footwear imho. Other than that the lattice is very strong and durable.
The Ultra Boost is my favourite. I need the rubber ball bounce lol.
