Hey this reduction is so common. So I was watching friends clip the other day and I heard that instead of saying see her, they say see 'er.
I do this and I’m not a native speaker but I’ve been speaking English pretty much my whole life so I think it’s just from listening others do it

I would like to know your thoughts on the usage of the word 'for' in common american English. I find that most people do not annunciate the 'o' at all, but instead say it with the soft 'e' sound. It makes me feel like I'm the only one around that actively tries to annunciate the 'o'.

How interesting. There are more than four thousand word coming from French in the English vocabulary that are written the same and have the same meaning, such as "attention, discretion, circulation,…".
But I hate when some French words are mispronounced such as "Bon appétit, Desmoine, gourmet, champagne,…"
