Does the new T-Junction stop coal generators starving? I ran four lines of 8 Coal-Powered Generators on 3 Water Extractors for 20 minutes, all from empty pipes, in Satisfactory 1.2.4.1 (October 2026).
T-Junctions, water split in the middle: 600 MW from minute 6
Cross junctions (Pipeline Junction in game), same pipes: 229 MW in minute 1 against 232 for the T-Junctions, then 600 MW from minute 6
One Pipeline Mk.1 fed from one end: stuck at about 500 MW, the last two generators at 42%
One Pipeline Mk.2 fed from one end: 587 to 594 MW from minute 9 (minute averages), one generator near the end kept cutting out
So the feed decides, not the junction. A Pipeline Mk.1 carries 300 m³ a minute and 8 generators need 360 (45 each). 300 is enough for 6.7 generators, which is 500 MW.
The two clean lines bring the water in on Pipeline Mk.2 and split it in the middle, so each Pipeline Mk.1 half carries 180. The T-Junction comes with the Tier 3 milestone Coal Power, Pipeline Mk.2 only in Tier 6, and I have not tested the middle split with Pipeline Mk.1 only yet.
Even the clean lines needed about 5 minutes to fill the pipes: the T-Junction line made 232 MW in minute 1 and 540 MW in minute 5.
I’d still use the T-Junction, because it’s tidier with no open fourth port. It just doesn’t stop starving.

Take that left most Mk 1 and connect it directly to the detached end where the gens are starving. Easy fix. No need to require Mk 2 pipes here.
I watched this to try to get some insight into the same problem in DSP. Is it possible to split the central feed line into two and have the side feeds cut into the splits?
What about added valves at each generator junction to restrict only needed fluid and to prevent sloshing
Missing one more junction. Instead having them all feed into one line, split it and have them go in a loop. That will fix your issues with the mk1 pipe.
Nice bait video 👍🏽
Six point what?
It's not about the junctions is about how fluids move, and how you set all up. That generator starving could be a looooot of things, like sending more water than the 360m³/min needed. So the fluid reaches the end and tries to go back, changing the direction of the flow continuously, and not letting the end of the pipe to fully receive water.
Pipes go in every direction, doesn't matter if you create a line or if there is T junctions, is always up to the Pioneer
Shit only starves when the creator is bad at Satisfactory. Do not blame the T-junction when the issue is 100% you. Yes, it is hard to believe that the great you could be the issue, but it is always the truth. So figure out why you are messing up and stop. It is probably something very simple that you do not even have a clue is the issue, but it is you and not the junction.
I've never had a problem with starving generators simply by just pre filling them before turning them on
I've noticed a bug with T-junctions. When you place them on a pipe sometimes it breaks the connection. The pipe looks connected, but it's not. A fix is to delete the pipe between T-junctions and replace it.
Mk2 pipes are unlocked in phase 3 when you get fuel generators. Coal generators are outdated at this stage. So coal layouts with mk2 pipes are pretty useless. Must be solved with mk1 pipes.
To do this without mk 2 pipe don't spit it in the middle jut run those 2 line down and connect one one each side of the middle pipe you get full output from the outside pipes and the center pipe splits evenly been running at a solid 600
Wait we've had T junction for at least two years…. tf?
I'm currently 14 hours into my game and I have 8 coal generators running off 4 water pumps. I link the water pumps in pairs, then run two pipes to the generators into a loop. This pressurizes the system and I'm locked in at 100% on all of them. Basically the top two, but i complete the loop so the lady generator isn't starving
This seems like a bug on their side rather than something we should need to account for?
it's like with belts, depends on the injection points.
what tool you are using to make this designs?
You had another layout that worked without a mk2 pipe and was just fine (two dedicated lines and third pump splits between them). It worked even better than a big loop of 8.
