Dr. Rowe shows an easy way to decompress your back at home.
This exercise will focus on a pulling motion in the back, known as traction, to help relieve pressure off spinal joints quickly. It’s especially good for bulging discs causing lower back pain and sciatica.
It requires no special equipment and may give relief within seconds.
Let us know how it works for you!

Thank you from Scotland. Mrs. Watson 😊❤
what if it kinda hurts when I stop?
I do this at least once a day. I find it easy to do in the corner of kitchen countertop because my wrist don’t bend all the way due to skateboarding.
Feel different somehow, maybe if i practice everyday?
Thank you. What if you can't lift onto your actual toe tips or your lift legs?
following 2 major disc replacement and fusion operations nearly 20 years ago … Very successful at the time and long time since… I now most often find hanging myself (arms ( ; ) from our stair rails or any suitable rail very helpful also whilst doing this I stretch my leg/s back and twisting my heel outwards ( good 4 me anyways ) Also I find best anti imflammatory to be nettle extract or tea!
Oh and an infrared therapy lamp is essential.. ( ;
Do I engage my core when I do this or just let it hang and breathe
This is helpful
Are you a spine doctor?
I just tried this and now I can't fucking move. I can't stand up straight without my lower back completely crampinng
Thank you. I've tried this one and it worked. Worked better on surface at hip height.
Thanks coach
Thanks a lot ❤
This actually gives me pain in my back. Been experiencing a lower back strain for roughly 3 weeks now. I guess decompress is bad for me
What about if the area is too tender to do those kind of exercises😮😢
Will this make me taller
This is the most helpful thing I've found all day
At the very core of unbelief in the God of the Bible is human pride. We think we know better and that we must be able to comprehend and control but thank GOD He loves us so much He allows us to think whatever we want yet gives us the way to Him. Only belief in Jesus Christ and His death on the cross saves us and because of His resurrection we are reconciled. There’s more but how blessed we are to know Jesus! 🙌
I do this everyday at work
I have a pull-up/ chin up bar in one of my doorways. I do dead hangs, with my tip toes touching the ground (for stabilization), for 60 seconds. Booyah!
Thanks a lot ❤❤from South Mumbai. India
Let the feet dangle. Much better
Can we do dead hang to decompress
I just got diagnosed with Degenerate Disc Disease at 53. Doctor doesnt seem to concerned. Im going through a rough patch with lower left nerve spasms. Ill try this, praying for the best
