I won Mega Millions several years ago and took my winnings and bought groceries with it. I've gambled at two casinos lost 40.00 dollars in each last time went to a casino. On lottery tickets I'll see jackpot in the hundreds of millions dollars or more, say to my self need to buy a ticket, procrastinate. Now see somebody has won and say to myself oh well.

I've only ever bought one scratcher ticket and I won $5. I used that to buy 3 Big Gulps for myself and my friends that were with me at the time. My wife and I have gone to the Indian Casinos 4 times over the last 20 years, but we go in with $50 each to play the slot machines knowing that we probably won't be leaving with that money, but it was fun and we enjoyed it. Beyond that, we don't really don't waste money on gambling.
