You're dress is practical and still nice. I totally can relate. Since that is exactly what I would do too when I work at the lab. I live fashion a lot but I wont wear ruffles or flowy dress into the lab because I don't want my lab mice entering my clothes too.

I’m a hands-on designer and i literally look like a witch while working chasing deadlines, chasing vendors, dealing with delays, design changes, practical roadblocks, lazy people and everything else imaginable and unimaginable and sometimes with 5 hours of sleep and 5 workdays! My job is to make you look good and if at all i find some time I’ll do that for me as well. Thank you

I got an answer when I took a course at a fashion school – italian one to make it more impressive😂I also expected to see designers and stylists to be dressed creatively or at least strikingly elegant but they dressed in a plain way! We asked our teacher the question and she explained that what we expected was either a couture or a glamour style – very vivid and made specially to catch an eye of people. The task of a stylist is to help you develop a unique style that fits your life and your body, which is seldom couture or glamour. Hence they dress to look as an ordinary person does but the irony is ordinary people don't trust them for that😢
I know chefs who come home and make macaroni and cheese. A friend owned a furniture store and he had old, crappy furniture! I’ve known more amazing hairdressers who had less than fabulous hair. When you do it all day, it gets less shiny and are more likely to take a break!
