Dejuan William 94 yard TD was electrifying. Had a 55 yd receiving TD against Indiana as a freshman. Great work by the defense. Zion Elee got it done of the field (congratulations):
Through the Elee Foundation, he made stops at Windsor Valley Community Center in Edgewood, Glenmount Elementary/Middle School in Baltimore City and Joppatowne High School, handing out more than 750 backpacks to children and families.
Elee's team tells WJZ he is even using some of his NIL money to help fund the efforts, adding that his work in the community is much bigger than football.

Maryland will always dominate and play their best/hardest against subpar teams but when it comes to midlevel teams, they’ll have the lead the choke, and get blown out by the Big Dogs

Maryland won a game they were supposed to win, and unlike Michigan, they didn't need the refs to cheat for them. Looking forward to seeing how the Terps do against tougher competition. Looks like we have a solid 1-2 combo at QB as well as good depth at the running back position.

Week 1 of college football should be referred to as BTA weekend. It’s always a power team playing absolute trash. It’s unfair to those smaller schools but they get paid just to play those teams so it is what it is. These games do show you the tiers of athletes.
This game was an obvious blowout. My fears remain after watching this team last year. Maryland would take leads into the fourth quarter, and they completely change their calls on offense and their defensive schemes and calls leading to losses in many games that they should have won if they had just stayed aggressive. I pray that they learned from all those unnecessary losses last year or they have changed their offensive and defensive coordinators for this season and the future.

Looking at the blow out scores this weekend, I understand why most schools schedule patsies early in the season. This is to give alumni & boosters false dreams to donate money to pray for a national championship.
