  1. I'm not h2h fans. But nowdays make me think every thing idol do that seems imitating black people is called racist. It make questions in my head, 1) are black people really that sensitive and untouchable(i actually believe they're actually not), or 2) it just bunch of haters who try to start hate bandwagon?

  2. so if it's not wrong WHY TF IS EVERYONE AROUND HER LAUGHING LIKE ITS A JOKE 😭😭😭😭 like can we stop playing pretend like they weren't laughing AT the impersonation, like people are out here pretending like if she was doing some deep well thought out appreciation of Michael Jackson or something

  3. The wig shouldn’t have been offered at all. It isn't necessarily racist that she wore it, kpop fans are blowing it out of proportions there because it does tend to be the usual for kpop artists to show racist behaviour. But this isnt.

  4. See? This is the reaction we need when you mess up
Adrressing the problem, taking accountability, apologize properly, and promise to be better in the future
Unlike some other idols who stay silent

  5. they never had intentions to mock black people and they told it on bubble, i think it's pretty obvious. twitter is just bored as hell and they want to cancel another group so bad😭😭 tf you mean racists2racists

  6. You know what, the racist one is them not h2h. I feel like they become more and more sensitive about this kind of thing like, MJ hairs literally afro.. wtf?? Which part about her being racist in this case, none other than them thinking of her being racist. I know racism needs to be stopped, but this isn't one. Tbh, thus who think this racist cz she use that wig is more racist for thinking MJ doesn't have that afro curly hair in the first place.

  7. How is that racist? Also, it's not their fault but rather the show itself who forced them to wear it. I saw a Twitter post saying that they were supposed to only wear the glasses but the hosts insist that they have to wear the wigs as well. Idk if it is true but either way, I wouldn't really call them racist simply because tv hosts made them wear it.

  8. Come on, they just impersonate MJ, and how long will curly hair and black features be considered bad? I actually feel sorry for black people if some people use black culture and features are always considered racist for others and never see a good perspective about their culture and features and especially if some kpop idols like black artists. Just imagine if I impersonated Britney Spears even though I'm Asian, believe me people would be okay with it lmao but not if I impersonate SZA 🥲.

  9. Blacks are professional victims. They make a living off in the United States and think that everyone else in the world also have to pander to them. Meanwhile many hate crimes against Asians are commited by the same community yet you only hear crickets from these "It is raciat against black people" crowd.

  10. It was very very ignorant and kpop has a huge problem with racism and blackface and stuff in the industry so that there's a reason why they got sm hate. But I'm glad that they apologized.

  11. Why don’t there companies teach them anything. See I’m not Asian I don’t know what they teach in schools but it would be common sense to tech students about racism and how cruel it is

  12. First of all, its confirmed that the staff urged them to use the afro hair, jiwoo only wanted to use the glasses!
But i agree that it still couldve been stereotypical therefore they should still held accountable which they were.. and they rightfully apologized. To the peoplesaying that they were mocking michael jackson they were not, they just happily danced. Theres no reason to keep slandering a person when they've already apologized and that theyre going to be learning feom their mistakes. Personally ive asked my friends that are black and shared a thoughtful response,! They didnt think much of it after watching the Whole video! These girls seems to be having fun and actually enjoying MJ as a person and not doing it to "insult" / "mock" him. Lets not spread negativity over something in the past! Theyve learnt from their mistakes and they would be more careful in the future!

Im so sorry for any (grammatically) mistakes ive made
because english isnt my first language 화이팅!!! 하투하!!!

  13. I don’t know it’s a bit of exaggeration. Michael Jackson literally had curly hair at one point and there are many Michael Jackson impersonators that are not black and don’t get any hate at all. Maybe people can say ignorance but racism is definitely a reach. Especially since this was something that the show came up with which is so stupid to me, considering that there have been groups in the last few years to be quickly, losing popularity due to both past and present racism and cultural appropriation claims I do commend each girl for immediately giving sincere. Apologies about the situation, though. And adult people are saying it is a racism and I also agree I do feel like it should be apologized for because it did offend some people we can call them soft or whatever we want, but the fact that they acknowledged that people were hurt in what to me seemed like one of the most sincere apologies given in K-pop(of course I know there are others, but there are a lot of times where companies just stick their idols on a video and give them something to say that’s clearly been scripted and they never come back to the topic) shows good character.

  14. I get what they were doing, and it was probably harmless but like I feel like we should learn our lesson by now the companies should know better. There have been many groups that have quickly lost their fame because of cultural appropriation racism, and everything else under the sun and then you put your group that’s rising in the industry pretty quickly and gaining a lot of attention in a situation where they could very quickly lose everyone that Stans them.

  15. I got so many replies, so I decided to edit my first comment entirely. And will be deleting my replies to the ones I've gotten. I don't want to argue over this anymore.

I want to express that I blame the showrunners for providing the wig in the first place. They should and have been held accountable. We need to remember that even though they have media training, it isn't bulletproof. Now that they've apologized, I believe that they will learn from their mistakes and educate themselves further, even though their media training should have done that in the first place. The hate they are getting is out of proportion and being branded as "racist" over this when there are many worse examples and with this being their first mistake is simply just jumping to conclusions. It was a poorly thought-out Michael Jackson tribute attempt, not deliberate malice. They apologized, so let's focus on constructive accountability over non-stop harassment and move on.
