I can change cord fast enough but I'm not good at hitting strings because sometimes I am hitting strings which should not be hitting
Great…I got all the way through to this episode, now I have to start all over…A few milimeters? I didnt know my guitar was british?!
I am putting my 1st finger as close as possible to the fret. But, it is not giving good sound.
Is there any problem with my guitar or am I missing out something?
My parents bought me a guitar years ago. Initially, I took a few classes from my neighbour but life got in the way.

I have dreamed the same dream many times. In the dream, I'm playing the guitar and I play it so phenomenally and the songs that I play sound so beautiful.
After learning this E chord now, I was playing around with the notes of this chord, strumming with my index nail the thin and the thick strings alternatingly and then random notes individually and playing it all just haphazardly but it all sounded so beautiful that it felt like I was inventing a new melody!
it feels surreal, as if the dreams came true lol.
I'm loving this course so much.

Struggled with D and A for 2 weeks. Got it down to 25 cord changes a minute which atleast don't sound muted, said it's time to move on or I'll be stuck forever. Got E on my first try and it's consistent. You really do give the best advice for learning.

I'm 40 fellas, been practicing 1,2,3,4 ….all my life then like 4,3,2,1….with my four fingers, kinda finger exercising , and fiddling around w it, anyway, finally learning to play, I just can't sit around anymore sounding like crap when C.C.R. comes on, Stevie ray Vaughn is my absolute favorite guitarist , see ya on mod 3, 1st grade, stay focused!
I started learning with you 6 days ago on acaoustic guitar but switched to electric after two days I got one from Ibanez, I already know chords A, D, G, E ,Em and C and I'm able to switch between them pretty smoothly I have only problem with C chord, your lessons are amazing I'm suprised with how fast I'm progressing. I have holidays rn so I'm able to spend around 5 hours a day:) Thanks for making my journey easier!
Hello justin im looking to learn to play the guitar and im interested in your app im having problems with finger placement will you app help.
My index finger on the G string was always touching the D string, and i couldnt find out why I tried different finger placements and try squishing my finger and struggled for 30 minute. Only then I thought of trying to cut my nails, then BOOM it actually worked, had a good laugh here 😂
is it okay if i learn this one with my 2nd,3th and 4th fingers?That way barre chords will be easier i think. Is it a good habit to learn this finger placement or does it not matter to much? i appreciate any anwers!

I’ve been trying to play guitar for thirty years as well and any time I make progress with it I have a setback. I have cerebral palsy and I am very grateful to be able to play guitar at all. I still like to go back to the basics every now and then after all this time. I know one thing for certain: the second and third finger placement that you suggest is much better. Makes it easier to shift to other chords. Thank you!
You know, I know a bit but I decided to go back and start again and do your course to see if it could improve my technique (it absolutely has), but when I first started trying to teach myself guitar I stalled on the F Chord (who doesn't, right?) and this has made me wonder, why don't we teach beginners to play the E chord with fingers 2,3 & 4 from the beginning so that when it comes to attempting the F barre chord they're only having to concentrate on the barre and the fingering is already strong?

Does anyone else have a lot of strain in their forearm when trying to keep your hand from touching the bottom of the neck? Super uncomfortable for me and I can't hold it like that for too long without getting muscle fatigue
