So, where do I even begin?? This drama had such a promising start and so much potential… but it turned out to be a complete roller coaster. It has its highs, but then it has its lows. It goes up and down constantly, and in the middle of the drama, it becomes fucking dragged out—I mean, catastrophically slow and unnecessarily long!
If I had come to the comment section and seen a comment telling me where to start watching, I would have been absolutely overjoyed, because then I could have avoided torturing myself by sitting through the entire drama, hoping that somewhere along the way, it would finally get good.
When a Chinese drama forces me to watch it on my phone because I can fast-forward through it at 2x speed, then you know there is a problem. I always give a drama a chance, even if I have already watched half of it. But when it feels like we've been stuck in the exact same place for an hour, having the same conversations and seeing the same behavior over and over again, then that's bad.
If you're going to watch this drama, start from 56:27.
For me, if I'm going to give a Chinese drama a 5 or higher, I should barely need to fast-forward through it. The less I need to skip, the higher the rating I give the drama.
Would I recommend watching this drama? Yes, but only from the point I've marked!
