  1. Aside from regulatory limitation, resistance from existing players (i.e Uber etc),I can see this can be possible, say in a year or less. Can we discount the advent of AI – > AGI?

  2. Something NEW nEw NeW unlikely to exist in unique to PredicT…expecting accuracy in a PREDICTION is not intellegent… boasting, expecting, depending on ANY prediction is dumb.

  3. I was walking through Culver City and saw this hidden Tesla Taxi hideout..
It’s an unmarked warehouse that i saw a gang of taxi’s driving in and out of at like 3am ..i didn’t see a human in sight

  4. nope aint happening this one will fail – maintenance, slow ass 'super' charging, regs, upside down to start ,pass it up. . . classic example don't invest where u think this one will 'for sure' go. too many fukin commercials no fkn way am sub

  5. Where the google glass metaphor falls apart is that people still HATE the idea of the Meta Ray Bans and any camera on your face. The public perception hasn't moved.

  6. Agree on the doors not making sense, seeing how there are no rear seats the should've either had a passenger side only or driver & passenger mini-van style sliding doors.

  7. You were confident because it ain't gonna happen. Not just by 2027 but probably not ever.

The liabilities involved in having a car, that you as the owner can operate as a taxi, that is self driven with zero ways for the occupants to control anything in the event of an emergency, are so prohibitive.

  8. The legislation thing is colossally huge. Even if you could get state-wide acceptance, you can't geo-fence a privately owned vehicle. You'd need agreement continent-wide and even THAT may not suffice.

  9. Clearly, he should shave his head. The cabs drive themselves autonomously without steering wheels, and it's in production. I think he's trying to get off on a technicality that they're not going direct-to-consumer.

  10. Yeah, Elon surprised me by delivering a car that can actually do the job, but selling it to normal people is a regulatory hurdle, not a technology problem. Your hair is safe.
