If Mount Rushmore Featured Four Americans Who Weren’t Presidents #shorts

If Mount Rushmore featured four historically significant Americans who had never been President, these are the four Americans I would like to see carved into a mountain.

Mount Rushmore is one of my favorite places to visit in the United States. Sitting on a rock in the Black Hills of South Dakota, the giant sculpture features the faces of four historically significant Americans: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. All four are American Presidents, of course.

But before it was sculpted in the 1920s and 1930s, some suggested that it should feature historically significant Americans who WEREN’T Presidents. This got me thinking, if it DID feature non-Presidents, which four Americans would I pick?

  1. On second thought, since the Black Hills were stolen from the Lakota Sioux, perhaps Crazy Horse ought to be up there instead of John Marshall.

    Who are your four?

  2. I am a Fan and a South Dakotan! I’m very impressed how you shot and edited this Video. You got Great Photography on this Heavily Photographed Monument and made a Great Side-point for Audience Participation!

    Thank You!
