Welcome to the SHORT version of part 4 of my series on CQB Micro Tactics in Door Kickers 2.
Here’s the full video:
This time we look at two methods of entry for center-fed rooms: Buttonhooking vs Flowing, aka Criss-crossing. How is it done in the real world, and how does that translate in the game? Here’s how to keep our guys alive while kicking those doors.

Did you think flowing was safer in the game? Me too! Welcome to the SHORT version of episode 4 of my series on CQB Micro Tactics in Door Kickers 2. Full video: https://youtu.be/y5g4o2iC6bk?list=PL2fJk7t2Po98HP7pRK5qP07Ilm1WrxPQH
Yes, grenades and slicing the pie etc. still apply.

If your gun is over 14inch your muzzle might still his the door frame irl so using pistol at hard corner is more efficient
What if you have multiple room and you run out of frags or flashbangs?
That's what screw bombs are for throw one in before enter the people ether already die or down then just enter to clean up yea I took a lot pills
Don't bhook……
Its best to assess everything like its a trap, the threat may readily present but it may tunnel your vison and blind you to the enemies trap.
Engaging through the door way first, whether it be direct shots or methods used obstruct the enemies senses.
Then using a flow or button hook.
Yall talking about some fragging the room, when you could just delete the room in question with a tomahawk. No need for special forces now.
"Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth"
Systems like the RANGE-R or lightweight tactical units project low-frequency radio waves or ultra-wideband (UWB) radar through concrete, brick, and drywal
News flash for keyboard warriors: you don’t usually carry grenades and flash bangs for every room, that’s why cqb grudgingly exists. If these teams are needed there are usually hostages or a high value target needing confirmation of kill. That’s why swat teams can and will bang the room before dynamic entry. This isn’t swat
Button flow.
Throw a banger or frag, then enter.
The rest is nunya.
Semper Fi
Do not do CQB like this. You will get shot EVERY time. They aren’t even looking into the room. Corners have become the “Crack Cocaine” of the CQB world i guess.
Hard corner ! 🏢🗡️
I think i would buttonhook around a wall on my left and flow through if the wall was on my right. Im a right handed shooter so keeping the cover/concealment/whatever on my left feels more natural.
why always showing arabs as bad people in the games if we see who is the bad in the world we gonna see 2 things 1 israel 2 usa this guys should be represented as monsters in the games also the creator of this game POOr mind
Listen i dunno shit about anything but just a thought. If the door is already open wouldnt it make more sense to stay back and shoot into the room from a distance? Why do you have to run in there
Maybe the frag grenade will not kill any of the hostages. We need to think more optimistic!
A lot of people might say that you can't use a grenade in a civilian scenario, because there aren't exactly a lot of grenades to be had on the civilian market, but you can toss in a simulator, which will have a psychological effect on anyone who sees it, and perhaps provide a second's worth of distraction.
IRL, doing this gets you put in a pine box
There is a tactical error during entry; the weapon is on the shoulder. The mistake is that when entering the room, the weapon should be the first thing to enter, not the empty shoulder.
