Jalwa E Jaanaan, the first of eight unique folk tracks from Maati Season Two, speaks about how we spend our whole lives seeking the Divine out there in the world, only to realise that God has always been within us.
It is a gentle reminder that the Creator isn’t a distant force in the heavens, but an essence flowing through our very veins and consciousness – a truth so beautifully expressed, “Mujhmein hai khaak teri, rooh teri, noor tera” (In me is your dust, your soul, and your light).
