Do AAA games run smoothly on this platform with 1080p, 60 frames, ultra settings? Thanks
i love my legion go s, i use it every day, when i travel its not even my laptop gets as much use because its a portable PC
I’m tossing up between the Legion go z1 and the legion go s z1 or 2.
I don’t know if I’ll be missing out on the performance the regular z1 has.
What’s your take?
I just got this for playing classics like NFS most wanted 2005 and streaming games from my PS5 for which I have a significant backlog but I just can’t seat on the couch watching. Hoping to do more gaming while lying down in bed or at my desk instead of doomscrolling
What decky launcher at 6:38
Got the z1E, 32gb, from BB last December for $532. Such a steal.
0:06 hi. Where did you get this pocket case thing and the dock, and for how much?
Also steam just upgrade recently i have got a Rt button problem. Bought mine less than a month. And installed steamos on it.
0:11 what screen this is on es-ds?
Whats the game at 5:12?
Just ordered mine from Very for £640, which seems pretty good value.
The current price is nutty. I got it on sale for $729. Now they want over $1500 for it.
Keep talking about should’ve been oled at this price point, no, that’s what the GO2 is for and costs twice as much.
im so glad i got my z1e a few months before the ram price hike for $600 😭😭😭
i'm glad oled isn't standard. i use mine for mostly displaying data / general usage before bed time, which can lead to screen burn in, worsened by oled tech. gaming is secondary to me, it's a nice to have for lunch breaks.
After ordering my own this video made me much more confident in my purchase, very helpful honest review 🙂
Hats off to you sir, that thing looks like its in perfect condition! Get a killswitch case for that thing though lol!
Hi, just about to pick one of these up, im sure a V2 is not far off but i dread to think of the cost. What is the little handheld at 8:23 in the top righthand corner?
I got incredibly lucky with all my recent tech purchases. I have AuDHD and I tend to overthink stuff and after that proceed to impulse buy stuff anyways for the dopamine kick, which usually manifests in me buying tech I don't really need. But within like the last 1,5-2 years I bought a 5080, 32gb ddr5 and a 7800x3d and the Legion Go S Z1E while everyone advised against it and wait until prices dropped. The prices I paid for every piece of tech on this list ended up being super reasonable and cheap even (the ram was like 110 euros or so lmao).
I don't regret getting the Legion Go S at all and it is an absolutely awesome device. It's an emulation beast, and can play lots of games locally as well. Yeah the battery is meh, but I just play at home on the couch or on my bed anyway, so there's always a wall outlet closeby.
Just bought one from Newegg but hopefully it ships. I got it for $613 (post tax).
Is there any external fans that can be used with the device?
I got one off of Facebook marketplace for $700 I was stoked!
Hi from Spain. Love your review after one year! Please could you tell me the name of the Mazinger Z game at min 5:57? Thanks!!
Got mine for $650 during Black Friday last year from Best Buy. How did I do?
450£ in UK on Amazon
I got this last autumn, couldn't sing higher praises about it. Yes, it has some drawbacks, but the overall package is fantastic. Great to see the device getting some love 🙂
Renegade Ops ftw 🙂
Bought mine back in December before the craziness with Price. I was disappointed as nobody seemed to talk about it and all the discussions were on the legion go 1. Glad to see it get respect, love mine
Overtime 🤘
Here in Russia, I bought a Go S for $900. It's a good console. I tried a couple of games and it runs great. Well, in Russia, everything is expensive because of the sanctions.
What was the second game ? The pinball type one ?
I got mine late last year, but in Australia the Steam OS variant only released with the Z2 Go chip. I loved the handheld, but the battery size and CPU were just not enough. I decided to sell it last week and I’ve pulled the trigger on a Legion Go 2 Z2 variant. I’ve only paid $300 (AUD) more to upgrade to an equivalent Z1E, 8.8” OLED and 75Wh battery.
Damn should’ve bought mine last year when it was under $800…
Should i get this If i want to play older games, 2010-2020 era. Games like left 4 dead 2?
I think Oled is great for larger monitors, but on smaller handhelds a well calibrated screen is more than enough, id much rather have the higher refresh rate then OLED if i had to pick
Right now it’s in John Lewis for £437
Try wireless ear buds with a dongle. Also 0 latency.
Just got one for $600 stoked.
Just picked one up for £380 in CEX. Fortunately I had a bit of old tech like a switch lite and Nintendo games to trade in for it. So I ended up paying &170 for it. I'd recommend hitting up the trade shops for one. The pricing hasn't caught up yet.
I wish I had one
after-1-year-no-drift-or-damage?!?
just picked one up lightly used on Ebay for about 650euros z1e w/ 32gb of ram and 1tb SSD. For that price, I'm insanely excited for whats about to land at my doorstep.
Bought it last March My first portable pc in my life and still had no regrets
Bought this 4 months ago and still loving it. NO regrets given the battery is really weak hahaha! But I usually play in my room, so it's always plugged in. It also has a direct-to-outlet feature, so the battery doesn't wear out.
