I miss having a President with a healthy sense of humor — and intelligence, competence, eloquence, empathy, altruism, ethics, diligence, international respect and admiration, and just the right amount of swagger. Having his opposite in power really sucks for the U.S. and the world.
(PS: I also miss The Oval Office not looking like a tinpot dictator's gilded lair or a cartoonish dragon's hoard. Let's hope The White House will be restored to its former tasteful dignity soon — and let's vote to make that happen.)

Dear HBO, I have tried to contact you via twitter, your copyright department, and multiple other emails, as well as posting on many of your videos and posts, all to no avail.
Several months ago you copyright claimed my True Detective video. It took around six months of my life and is a love letter to your wonderful show, it's also the most successful thing I've ever made. The video is inarguably fair use, there isn't one second of audio from your show included, and over a four and a half hour video there is less than two minutes of footage, all split up in sub five second segments and used to illustrate the point being constructed via narration.
This video has been extremely well received by fans, and thousands of people who had not seen True Detective before have chosen to finally watch it due to my video. It is the perfect advert for your media property. I'm not asking for you to un-copyright claim it, although that would absolutely be the fair thing to do. What I am asking is that you turn off the egregious advertising you are subjecting my viewers too. Some people are reporting between 40 and 100 adverts across that four hours, on a video that originally had three ad breaks. This is just ridiculous, and it's insane to me how you can't see how you're shooting yourself in the foot here. This is free advertising for you, carefully made, educational and popular advertisement. And your plan has been to advertise on it so egregiously that people get bored, or rightfully offended, and turn off the 4 hour advert for your show.
Again, I am not asking for financial control of the video back, I don't expect you as an entity to care about my hard work, but at the very least could you turn off the automatically assigned ad placements, so that more people can become interested in your product.
I will continue to keep asking you publicly about this, until you choose to contact me back privately, or better yet do the right thing and reset the video adverts to how they were.
Lol, Obama is a war criminal and anyone who celebrates him because Orange Man is just as delusional as Orange Man's supporters. 😆 Obama bombed children and prosecuted whistleblowers and expanded the power of the state to spy on everyone, among other things. But Liberals think he is so great because the TV never told them he drone striked reporters or armed cartels or spied on Americans or bailed out bankers, and so on.
