I feel like people only complain about yi because when he gets ahead he’s strong. Of course he’s strong. How do you think bot laners feel about a katarina sprinting bot and just getting double kills while they can do nothing. Or literally any other example. Sure it’s a buff, but this by no means suddenly makes him meta.

Well and ban it will be now, until they reverse this buffs he just took riven's spot to me lol. Unbalanced as fuck. They took the way to think and counter play him, just like Zed R and talon Q or quiyana E. He is the only character apparently that on a normal skill with low CD is just unpredictable and and also he that gets invulnerable and reduced damage with another skill can go through walls with Q. This game balance team is just braindead when they need to make a champion winrate better they just over buff with no calculation to kill the champ after 3 patches with nerfs.
Wow you have wait an extra 0.5 seconds to see where he appears before you CC him. I don't see how this changes anything. Only silver and lower players who didn't know how to CC in the first place think that this is super broken.

So many people complaining when literally all you need is either an early game Jungler that just puts him behind since his Ganks suck in the early game or just pick 2 realiable cc’s in your team. If you pick a team without cc and a jungler that doesn’t interrupt yi, well that’s on you, nobody forced you to pick 0 cc.
Just try and play him against either a plat+ jungle that knows what he is doing or a team that knows what it’s doing just a little bit and you will see how much fun you can have with yi or how broken he is.
And for everyone that wants to tell me he is broken after the patch: his w buff got reverted afaik and EVEN IF IT WASNT that would still be 100% fine, since that is just half of a spellshield basically and this q change is nothing more than a little skill expression, since good yi players need the q to dodge the cc normally so using it like shown in the video is irrelevant in 80-90% of cases. (But it might be interesting for lane yi)
