Corey, for the first time in their careers in WWE , Michin and B-Fab hold gold.
This is outrage farming by WWE. They are trying to generate heat for the Baddies. But there's a crucial difference between: “I hate these villains and can't wait to see them get beaten.” and “I hate this storyline and don't want to watch these performers.” And that's where I'm at.
People are happy for Michin and B Fab? Why? Because they paid their dues? Sure, but so what? They still suck. They are not stars and never will be stars because they are not good enough. I am not angry at the Baddies because they don't control the booking. It generates no heat for me because my heat with the Baddies is pure go-away. Hey, WWE, stop trying to make Jade Cargill and the Baddies happen. They are bad performers and not entertaining at all. They show no character work, can't cut a convincing promo to save their lives, and are all subpar ring workers. Fatal Influence are better performers by every metric.
I get that this is to forward the storyline with Charlotte. Her silence if deafening. But this booking communicates that Charlotte is the most important member of the group, which really sucks for Alexa and Tatum.
And the presentation of the match sucked. No entrances, no promos, no build up. Only about 6 minutes of ring time with two minutes of that cut for commercials. The match itself was dull and formulaic with the same recycled spots. The ring performances were passionless too, as if the performers knew it wasn't going to go over with fans no matter what they did. And this was a CHAMPIONSHIP match? The WWE is once again showing that they don't care enough about their tag team division to give it meaningful ring time. And if they don't care, why should fans?
