Set in the heart of Punjab, Mitti De Baway is a timeless tale of love, pride, class, and destiny.
Bano, a woman from a respected family in Wazirabad, falls deeply in love with Baala, a dhol player from Mitranawali. Bound by family honor, Bano denies their love and chooses her family over him, leaving Baala heartbroken. Years later, fate brings them together again in Faisalabad, where both are married with children. Their unresolved love resurfaces, but fear, resentment, and revenge pull them apart once more.
As destiny reunites them for a third time, old rivalries, betrayal, and family conflicts stand in their way. Though they eventually forgive each other and accept the love they could never escape, an old enemy returns, turning their long-awaited reunion into a heartbreaking tragedy.
Mitti De Baway is a saga of a love that survives every obstacle, only to be defeated by fate.

اس ڈرامے میں سید زادی کی بہت زیادہ تذلیل کی گئی ہے جو نہایت ہی غلط ہے جو رسول خدا صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے خاندان کی توہین ہے سید زادی کا نکاح ایک امتی سے جو دکھایا گیا ہے اور جس طرح دکھایا گیا ہے وہ بہت زیادہ غلط ہے محمد و ال محمد کی توہین کی گئی ہے اس ڈرامے میں ہمارے گزارش ہے کہ حکومت پاکستان اس ڈرامے پر سخت ایکشن لے اور اس سے فل فور بند کیا جائے

Being a Pakhtun, I don't fully understand Punjabi language which is sprinkled in dialogues ludicrously.
But the drama is simply fantastic in all other aspects.
It depicts rural Punjab in a way no other drama could have done so far. Kudos to the whole drama team for producing such a master piece.

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے خطبہ غدیرِ خم کے موقع پر ارشاد فرمایا:
"میں تم میں دو بھاری (اور اہم) چیزیں چھوڑے جا رہا ہوں: پہلی اللہ کی کتاب… اور دوسری میرے اہل بیت۔ میں تمہیں اپنے اہل بیت کے معاملے میں اللہ کا خوف دلاتا ہوں، میں تمہیں اپنے اہل بیت کے معاملے میں اللہ کا خوف دلاتا ہوں۔"
— (صحیح مسلم: 2408)
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا:
"کسی بندے کا ایمان اس وقت تک کامل نہیں ہو سکتا جب تک کہ وہ مجھ سے میری ذات کے لیے محبت نہ کرے اور میرے خاندان سے میرے خاندان کی وجہ سے محبت نہ کرے۔"
— (شعب الایمان للبیہقی)
سادات کے اکرام اور ان کی پاکیزگی کی خاطر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کے لیے زکوٰۃ اور صدقاتِ واجبہ کو حرام قرار دیا ہے، تاکہ ان کا مقام بلند رہے۔
لیکن افسوس ٫" مٹی دے باوے " ڈرامے میں سید لڑکی کو متعدد لڑکوں کے ساتھ معاشقے میں دکھایا گیا ، گھر سے بھاگنے کی کہانی بنائی گئی اور اس سب کے ذریعے سادات کی عزت و ساکھ کو نقصان پہنچایا گیا ۔
سادات کو ایسے غیر اخلاقی اور منفی کرداروں میں دکھا کر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم حدیثوں کو پس پشت ڈال دیا گیا ۔
ہمارا ڈرامہ سازوں سے مطالبہ ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے اہل بیت سے محبت کا حق ادا کریں اور ان کی عزت کا خیال رکھیں ۔
