o/ fly safe
They are movie not a documentaries. It doesn't have to be accurate. In movies they get unlimited ammunition too😂
Honestly, who cares if it’s technically inaccurate, it’s entertainment. It’s what Hollywood has always done.
The shuttle's main engines DO keep burning after the big fuel tank has been jettisoned. There is more fuel inside the shuttle.
POV: nasa: what should we do? Movies: i know! EVERY MOVIE:
Interstellar: just a ballistic missile
imagine making a movie about a future rocket and this rocket dies irls lol
Hey I saw Moonraker in an open air drive-in theatre way back when it just came out, good times! 💙💙💙
Can you just shut up please, everybody knows you have to engage a roll manurver to invert the ship to Earths surface, nobody wants any level of gravity acting on them in reverse, pushing too much blood to your head😅 but you didn't try to explain it did you¿ You just just criticised movies for not being able to explain…. what you were too gutless to explain 😢😢😢if you want to teach people.. don't hate on others, just explain…if you are capable, otherwise just shut up!
rip bird for the first clip
1979 back when you had to know stuff and computers didn't do it for you.
Rip that bird in the beginning.
Moonraker gets the space shuttle wrong in the first 2 minutes of the movie. It shows main engines firing as it separates from the carrier.
the only other pet peve for space is when they just let the characters float in space , no orbit , no nothing
I got a cut like animation
The reason it flys inverted (to my knowledge) is because the engines are angled up, so if it were flying the incorrect way the shuttle would have to have a higher AOA to achieve the same performance. So instead the shuttle burns rolled over, so the engines push the shuttle and the tank
Love ya, Manley.
"Roger the space shuttle sequel to maximum overdrive " 😂 wtf? Seriously
at that time Falcon 9 Didn't exist
