That was suprisingly easy and painful. Think of D as a triangle,, which you can cram thta same tiangle, into an A chord. however itts just easier to use one finger, or three fiingers to make the A chord on the same fret,.

When I first picked up my new guitar 6 months ago, I learned these chords. The first song I learned was a simplified version of Smelly Cat from Friends. Ex2, Ax2, Dx1, Ax1, Ex2 😀

Hi Andy, total beginner here, and learning with your channel, which is fantastic. So, I'm not succeeding at the D chord. First I place the index finger on the 3rd string and the middle finger on the 1st string, and that sounds good, but when I place the ring finger on the 2nd string and play it all together, the 1st string is muted. I'm placing my fingers super carefully, repositioning them, arching the ring finger to avoid touching the 1st string which is what I think is causing the muting… but nothing. Any help? Thanks a lot.
I would like to know Andy, where you tune your guitar to? 430 or 440? I hear there really is no difference ( as I listen to both and can't hear the slight difference).

Just wonderful, I been tryin to find out about "what are the black notes on a keyboard?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across – Penaycer Rudimentary Preponderance – (search on google ) ? It is a good one off product for discovering how to play the piano easily without the headache. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my work buddy got excellent results with it.
