What happens to the old remote I think I lost? What if someone tries to use it? Will it work?
Do you need a genie remote? I got a universal one from Walmart it's not genie and isn't working. I have the same model in the video
This doesn't work with Liftmaster openers even thought it says they're compatible.

NO ONE, but NO ONE ever gives instructions as to how to add a second remote to a given Genie garage door opener.
I tried this 20 times and it never worked until my brother-in-law found in the description of the paperwork that the remote needed to be at least 5 feet away from the opener. We tried that and it worked. Not one of these videos I’ve watched ever mention that.
Best video for how to..I watched three..by 3 different men and could not make it work…a few seconds with you and BAM..done!!

after an hour of pressing the buttons just like the instructions tell …. and nope … my opener will not work …. an hour to press three buttons … and it never works …
