Rail safety banners stretch along J Street in Midtown Sacramento

The Midtown Association is installing 37 new rail safety banners along J Street from 20th to 27th streets in Midtown Sacramento as part of California Rail Safety Month. The banners are designed to remind drivers and pedestrians to stay safe around train tracks. The effort comes as California ranks second in the nation for rail crossing incidents and has the highest number of related deaths.
