Before heading into the woods to set up a bushcraft camp, I decided to call a vet to check on the dog and the puppies I had found in the forest during a previous trip. After the animals were examined, we took the dogs into the woods and set up camp for the night; everything went well. However, when we returned home, we saw that one of the small puppies was dying. We managed to save its life, and now it is with us.

I have never seen such badly placed shots on dogs before with lots of pain for the dogs, it is almost as if the pain is incurred deliberately. Is this really a professional veterinarian? Hard to believe.
it is nice that you take care of the dogs and their health, kudos, but perhaps not throw the puppies back into the doghouse as if they were boxes – these are sensitive animals (just like us), and deserve to be treated as such, and well.

Why would you rescue a mamma dog and her puppies, get them vet checked then leave them overnight on their own in bear country to fend for themselves?? You could have stayed home for a few weeksto make suee they were ok which one baby clearly was not and where was mamma dog when you got home?????
