I remember going to a Civil War reenactment, was standing 30 or 40ft behind the cannons as they fired it was awesome. They had rhe medical tent exhibit with a surgon sawing a guys leg off. Funny to say he was missing the leg to begin with.

I served in vietnam and many of the fire support bases i was on had 175mm LONG TOM artillery. LZ Action, LZ oasis, LZ Merideth , Pleiku, 4th div. with 8", 105mm, 155mm.
