've been a devoted Samsung mobile phone user for more than 15 years (from the Note4 to my current S25), but disappointment after disappointment is breaking my loyalty to Samsung. I was really counting on SPen support coming back to the fold so that I could move on from my S25 to a foldable. But alas…STILL NO SPen 😪😡!
Summed up, I'm done and I'm moving on to the Motorola RAZR Fold… with its active stylus

Good job with the video one thing, though. I don't think both should have the same screen. Why would you need a ultra? If a lesser model has all the same specs, it doesn't work from a business standpoint. What would be the difference in the ultra? In the regular fold ultra needs to be ultra, fold needs to be fold. If it was apple, you would get way less. There's a difference between pro promax in all the other iPhones. So from a business standpoint, it makes perfect sense. Unless they bring the S Pen back and I highly doubt that, and if they do, it should go to the ultra. Only there has to be distinguishing facts between the two.
Enough with the stupid crease. Not an issue even on my 6. No one is looking their display under angle to see it.

The biggest leap in foldable needs to be non delaminating and cracking displays. That's the major hurdle holding them back in sales margins.
My wife had 3 Samsung flips over 3 generations up to 2 years ago. All delaminated or started cracking at the fold seam. She went back to a regular slab phone.

I saw the fold ultra yesterday. It’s as thin as edge. It’s weird but it’s satisfying to open and close it. They can still add a pen in the spine. I held it for like 5 mins cause I had to go back to work lol. It’s bright and way lighter than expected. They could’ve given the ultra the ultra cameras. So this is something their working on obviously

These days…Samsucks, and I don't like any other devices really. So I use my phones until I no longer can. I went from the S22 Ultra to a Fold 7, and aside from the fold part… IT'S THE SAME FKING PHONE. These minimal nothing upgrades you all keep paying crazy money for…. it's insane.
I have no s-pen and no SD, shit battery life and all the same old cellphone concerns we always have. Stop buying new phones with nothing upgrades. Even worse they are taking features away and charging more. Dumbest society ever. Your money is your only vote.

I was hoping for higher dust resistance this year. This has been one thing holding me back from purchasing a foldable device. I work in environments where my pockets get really dusty from new home construction. I purchased the zfold 4 in 2022 and after a month or so I could hear it crunching even opening and closing my device. I ended up selling it due to this after having Samsung replace it under insurance.

The Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra looks good but the ugly 10MP telephoto lens is a massive deal breaker for the price imo
