Here after the Iphone Duo launch, just got a Fold Z 4 for FREE. Its used for sure but im loving it. Holds up well in 2026, coming from an iphone 12, been emulating games and watching media. Might never go back to normal phones!
Why is Samsung NOT held accountable for these numerous, easily damaged, and extremely expensive folding phones?
The FLIP 4 is dogsh!t. The build quality is terrible and you should definitely expect the hardware specifically tbe screen to die at 13 months. Just after the warranty runs out.

It's a piece of overpriced junk. Beware, within 18 months of purchase, mine has had its fold out screen film replaced twice (thankfully within the guarantee period). But immediately thereafter, coinciding with it falling outside the guarantee, it's become an unusable slab – the front LCD screen has failed. Because of that there is no accessibility to WiFi (apparently the WiFi is integrated with the front screen). SIM slot no. 2 is unusable. To repair it requires the large foldout screen to be replaced because the SIM slot is integrated with the foldout screen! A marvel of design. And, the starter switch does not work. All this within 18 months of purchase and very careful use. Cost of getting it to start working again: Rs. 70-75,000 (as per the local Samsung service centre). Guarantee on repair? 3 months.
Are these guys kidding??
Avoid the GalaxyZFold if you value your money. And your peace of mind.
You sold the front screen width increase on the Fold 4 vs the Fold 3 absolutely DIRTY!!! 🤷 Yes, "+3mm more" cover display width might not sound like much in ABSOLUTE terms, but in relative terms it made a HUUUUUUUUUUGE difference to both appearance AND general usability!!! Unlike the Fold 2/3's, the Fold 4's (& 5's) cover display was juuuust wide enough for comfortable typing and app rendering!
And unlike say fhe "full-size phone width" OnePlus Open, this front screen improvement didn't turn the interior tablet screen into a god damn fucking SQUARE!!! Yes, it got sliiiighty more square in aspect ratio at ≈6:5 vs Fold 203's ≈5:4, but that's still MIIIIILES more rectangular than the Open's nearly 100% square ≈9:8!!! This more rectangular display shape makes it MUCH better for watching widescreen media in landscape and scrolling through modern vertical app feeds in portrait.
their wifi spoils after a year for most of their fold phone

I just purchased a z fold4 to replace my z fold3 which I'm giving to my wife. My question is, since both folds are unlocked and renewed
if I reset my fold3, will it reset back to the unlocked mode or will it reset and stay in the T-mobile mode? Any help will or replies will help.

I've hade mine for a bit over a year. Bought it on release. This is by far the best phone I've ever owned. I usually buy a new phone every 2 years because I get bored of the old one (I know it's a bit of waste but I sell the old one or give it to family). I've not even considered buying a new phone, I just love it! No issues with it so far and I love folding it up when watching YouTube and gaming. It's amazing!
This phone sucks. Mine broke down and has a black line right down the middle and i never dropped it. Contacted samsung and they said the screen is not covered under warranty. Stay away from Samsung

Marques. Have you heard the latest issues with the z fold 3. Many people are experiencing no sound at all in the open flat screen mode, even after resetting, restarting and adjusting all sound settings. This is a major flaw in the z fold 3. Will this be the same issue with the z fold 4 and 5. Samsung need to do something about this, especially after people, including myself, have paid a lot of money for it. From what I've read in the forums, Samsung are not being helpful at all even when its a manufacturing device issue.
I want one. $1,800 though…
4 months into mine had to take it to the service center 😢. The cover screen went dead and they replaced it and it was fine for a while, 2 weeks later the center screen went off and they had to replace it but realised after that, the motherboard was dead and thus they had to replace it. All in all I love the phone. All other accessories including the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, Fold edition pen and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro have not had an issue and are perfect!

Only downside I saw to the flip 4 was the photos, otherwise Id love one if i could afford it. I got a the watch 5 and the battery didnt last long and I had a difficult time synching it to my phone, so I hardly used it at all…thinking of selling it.

Don’t buy the flip 4. The screen crapped out in less than 3 months and there is a back order for a replacement screens.
Would the Samsung z fold still be a phone to get today, or Wait for next Gen to come out?

Do NOT buy this phone. They are all defective. I have had my phone for just over a year and the inner screen no longer responds. My co workers all have the same problem, some less than a year. Samsung will not do anything about it as it is out of warranty. But these are all defective from the start. Its BS that they tested these for 200,000 folds! Sure all in a lab and probably highly exaggerated. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! Even though this is a fold 4 I am sure it will have the same problem.
Z Fold 4 is very unreliable and fragile device.
After 3 months of buying brand new Z fold 4 its big screen stoped working. Samsung service center declined my warranty claim referring to a scratch on a side frame.
Man sorry to get hijack this but I think consumers are getting the bad end of the stick with support from Samsung for these phones.
I have a Fold 4 that had some bad pixels on the inside screen. I called Samsung support and got told to go to a UbreakIfit store. They took a day and when they handed me the device at 6 pm today, the front screen was separating from the device. I showed them this and they took it back saying they forgot to heat up the glue that sticks the front screen. They gave it back to me at almost 7 pm and it looked fine. When I got home, the store was closed already, and the phone was working really slow. Then I noticed that the front camera looked like it had condensation. Now my phone is super slow, my front screen camera is not working and the front screen is again coming apart.
I have called Samsung support 6 times last night. 3 times the just forwarded me to Care+ witch wanted 100$ deductible. Another time I got a manager that was so rude to me and my wife I literally wanted to cuss her out (I did not, but i was damn close).

The Fold 5 is right in the corner and still no review of the Fold 4 like you said on the video, I have a S22 Ultra and I am considering buy a Fold 4 now that the prices came down a little and the Fold 5 looks like will be almost the same but with probably twice the price i would pay on a Fold 4 right now…

After being in love with the Flip phones since the first one, I finally was able to get the Flip 4 and I have never been happier with a phone
I still want a better battery. I've had my flip 3 for a couple years and my only complaint is the battery.
