  1. You can’t say rules have to be amended, wrong and then call the club corrupt in the same sentence when if they were using the previous model, nothing would’ve been an issue by his own admission. That’s straight hypocrisy to even say it and then go on further to say if you have a billion dollar, you should be able to invest in your club when that’s exactly what City were doing while being prevented. That’s the charges in a nutshell. It’s the rules that are corrupt. You cannot say the rules are wrong and City broke the wrong rules and call them corrupt for it.

  2. Reason this way. It's political from UAE. Someone is using man city to expose UAE government for their wrong doing of say using government money to sponsor city thru their Etihad and end up to man city of which man city is a personal asset of the royal family. My opinion. City getting punished will cause fire on UAE so it must be prevented at whatever cost to protect UAE. Man city is in the cross fire. My opinion.

  3. Premiership created this mess letting City cheat since 2009 that's 17 years
Chelsea new owners put their hands up about previous owner so got a lesser charge
City hid this from 2009 to 2023
    What a sham fake club.
No Club, players, officials or fans can hold their head high with pride on their so called achievements if it done through cheating !

  4. Assuming all players and Peo were innocent is niave. How do you know there wasnt underhanded wages to some of these stars…and they're responsible for their earnings, it isnt a defense in court to say "i let my agent do it" it doesnt matter. Guaranteed some players are aware of extra pay

  5. 6:11 the point is… this is still a sports competition! Who wants a league where the club with the richest owner dominates every year? Isn't this exactly what city did? These two had too much heads in their careers

  6. Now is NOT the time to debate the rules. They were there so all clubs have to play by them. If clubs dont want to sell their academy players, then play them instead of buying someone elses academy player.

  7. They don’t get the reasons they gave for it. It’s so they don’t spend money on wages and everything else and then the owner leaves for whatever reasons.
Saying the owner can spend whatever they like, they amass billions a year in wages, then the owner has a heart attack and dies. Who’s now paying them wages and if they try and sell them players who’s going to take them on those wages and why would the player voluntarily terminate a contract they signed?

  8. Premier League’s PSR framework:

£105m Loss Buffer: Generous £105m allowed loss threshold over a rolling 3-year period.

Owner Equity Flexibility: Owners can introduce equity/funds to boost allowable turnover up to 115% of baseline standard.

100% Infrastructure & Capital Deduction: All stadium, facility, and capital acquisitions are fully excluded from PSR losses.

Youth, Women’s & Community Exemption: Full deductions for academy, women’s team, and community spending (incentivizing long-term growth).

Commercial Sourcing: Third-party Associated Party Sponsorships are allowed at Fair Market Value (FMV), while non-connected commercial deals are completely uncapped.

Owner Financing: Shareholder loans are fully permitted to support operational cash flow.

You guys are uniformed and misaligned.

  9. Carlton Cole doesn't understand business language. When the owner is putting their own money in the club he is essentially saddling the club with debt because that money now becomes a debt that the club owes the owner. The owner would still want his money back at some point. That's why an investment by the owner is reported as equity and not income. What do you think happens when the owner is no longer interested in the club? He sells it but when he sells it who do you think wants to buy a club that has a huge debt? No one

  10. That guy hasn't a clue…basically billionaire spending in the Premier league would destroy other league's and english lower league teams….there needs to be boundaries to protect everyone otherwise its the wild west

  11. Youre saying they should change the rules so billionaires can play fantasy football in real life and just throw money at a team…….but what about Foreign states plowing money into a team? City's defence is that the money came from the state not the owner……like thats any less shady? Regardless of whether the rules need to be changed……City voted for those rules. And couldn't abide by them. Anything else is irrelevant.
