What year did the original movie come out?
I remember this movie as a kid I watched it first time. From today's perspective I'm thinking, this is before the LIDAR invention. But how come nobody from the shantytown called the authorities or the news station and inform them whats going on on that hill, when the construction started. Also the construction company claimed they had no idea about any bodies. The construction projects require lot of digging to lay foundations, pipes, cables, drainage, sewers, roads…so there is no way they haven't found graves during the diggings.
We know our house is haunted n dangerous, hey, bring over the new baby!!! WTF!

They missed out on capitalizing that this is a true story. Black Hope Cemetery is in Crosby Tx. Unfortunately, it doesn't have rolling hills like in the LA based movie!
