Narcissists always call the people they hurt crazy for being hurt. I have no doubt Charles said what he said – he is not a kindly man, never was. He was most concerned about how the death would affect Camilla-he was just beginning to show their relationship in the open. He never could’ve treated Diana and his sons the way he did if he was kindly.
Diana’s death made us all look at ourselves and our part in her death. Charles and Spencer were the big players in her life, and they both rejected her. We consumed her. And now, the chickens are coming home to roost – in the form of Harry and and this book. Charles has a karmic debt to pay, and I’m glad he is having to face is abhorrent behaviour after forcing his mistress down our throats and pushing her all the way to Queen of the realm.
