We’ve been big admirers of SOHN’s work for quite a while and always wanted to work on something together. When we finally got together in our Lisbon studio, we instantly connected, on a musical level but also a personal one. We talked a lot about life, relationships and creativity, the kind of conversation that goes on longer than you planned. At some point we moved to the piano and a couple of synthesizers, trying out different ideas without really thinking about where it would go. Once we had something rough, SOHN tried out a vocal and it turned into “Shaped With Two Hands.”
