I still remember reading the scene in the book,and Daniel is really defiant at Ham,who promptly smashes his face in.Julie thinks that's all that's going to happen to him,but Ham explains his plan and it's Julie that makes the call that seals Daniel's end.Love that scene too,when Steven tells Daniel he's going to be food.Never a more satisfying moment.

According to canon, Ham Tyler was a gifted Shakespearean actor who was also highly trained in musical theater. He played Fritz in an off Broadway production of “The Sound of Music” and had won the role of Danny Zuko in the touring production of “Grease” shortly before the Visitors arrived.
