Because, Embark might ban you from the game. My Bro killed TheBurntPeanut in Arc Raiders. The next day he was banned for 30 days. His appeal was denied and Embark won’t say why.
On October 12, We played a duo match, Steve (“Uncle Cheese”) and I ran into TheBurntPeanut and Gimmick on Pendola Pass. We had no idea who they were until Peanut spoke on proximity chat after going down. Steve played one match that day. The next morning: a 30-day suspension, a stream chat calling him a cheater and a stream sniper, and an appeal that came back denied. Embark says its anti-cheat “detected unauthorized behavior.” Steve asked what it was and whether anyone watched the footage we sent. On Oct 19 they answered: “Under careful review, this ban will remain in place,” and closed the case. Neither question was answered.
This video lines up my recording, Peanut’s stream and Gimmick’s stream second by second and asks one question: who banned the Bungulator, and why?
This isn’t about dunking on Peanut or Gimmick. Peanut got jumped on stream, like he does every day. It’s about what happens to a regular player when the system decides you’re guilty and won’t tell you why.

I call a Rocketeers "angry printers" in Arc Raiders. They're sound and look like angry flying printers that print out rockets to destroy us all. Ever since I can't undo it and shout in all-chat: look! an Angry Printer! as I ping it.
No one forces Peanut or anyone else to stream their games live on the internet. Anyone who chooses to live stream their location during a game is entitled to no protection. That's their choice. So if peanut or anyone else is choosing to make content by live streaming their location, they anyone else is free to make content or just a hobby out of hunting him down. They don't have to broadcast their location. In fact, if they do get stream sniped, the only thing they should say is… "Thank you for watching my channel and supporting my life playing video games." Anything else is just ungrateful.
Who cares if they got sniped or not, theyre scumbags who cant take losing, just like tarkov players

Embark need to stop banning people without any concrete evidence, imagine normal player that dont record gameplay or stream goes and play a game and kills a streamer without him knowing who is and gets ban ….
what he does next ? appeal it ? what evidence he as if he dont record it ? he gonna stay banned and he can t do nothing about it …
if its permanent ban and they can't prove it they (Embark) can be sued in American court FTC Act.15 U.S.C. and breach of contract or EU court DSA Act.of 2022/2065 and its a risk for them , thats why they give only 30d bans
This is why I'm Embarks biggest hater and will never buy a product from them again. They do good work, but their community managers and their continuing development 💩 all over it. I miss the launch arc raiders

Cupcake cheats in multiple lobbies… gets reported several times… ends up in a lobby with burntpeanut and cheats to kill him…. reports catch up and scrub gets banned… then cries and clout chases by making a lame video…. so sad
Call me paranoid… but: Embark regards Peanut as one of the biggest contributors when it comes to promote the game… could it be that they gave him back his stuff so he can still promote the lvl 5 weapon and that poor guy just had to take the fall for it? Just my two braincells casually conversating….
I think it's shitty that embark and other devs suck the dick of streamers. Basically changing the game based on what 1 or 2 streamers want and not the entire community. When devs do that the streamer gets an ego. Claiming "devs you better do this or I'm gone"

Stream Sniping shouldn't be punished anyways. If someone makes a living playing games live and doesn't hide their game at all then thats on them anyways. Also this clearly hinders the whole anti cheat thing for players and embark as well. Its clearly not helping the consumer at all. On the contrary apparently. It looks like Peanut got paid to come back and hes getting special privileges because he brings embark money. I've been killed countless times by actual cheaters and ive only ever got 2 loadouts back.. This is bad news.

I just got banned for 30 days for not reason, I always played freandly doing raid, and doing the queen with 2 other freandly, then arrived 2 rats, and just for say "careful there is some rats, they take me down" in that moment the game decide to bann me, can you belive that sh#$..t? That anti chest is not working, and is that is damaging the game experience, Im gonna leave this game is unfair.
so does the "Matchmaking Privacy" feature in settings not work then, or are players just missing it because it so far down the settings list, because it's supposed to add randomized departure and alter your server info
been playing embark games for almost 4 years now. Genuinely worst company ever. heavy 'politics' internally with biases for persons with fame and or notoriety. Absolutely biased bans and unbans in the finals should have its own documentary tbh. This is nothing new though, my friend got hardware ban for doubling boxes on a "pro" stack in ranked. they complained to the personal chat between embark devs and comp players in the finals discord and ended up getting his entire stack hardware banned. Absolutely trash devs who cant make logic and reason based decisions, all feelings
Someone in the match would have had to have reported Steve in order for Peanut to receive the items back from the raid. Any one person in that match had to have known and reported, or an admin was watching (which is almost guaranteed) and saw the general consensus of chat saying "cheater cheater cheater" and was like "huh, musta been a cheater." and issued the ban later after a skim of the footage.
Good story telling. Without an AI written script If X ten Y moments it coulda been 15 minutes and just as impactful.

If I stand corrected the beloved Peanut the most famous gamer in ARC Raiders is a cheater in the game. So just because he bring in shock factor for ARC Raiders and for ARC Raiders to say don't worry we have got you seems very unfair to other players.
