Why don’t UK cops carry guns?
Most use non-lethal tools like batons, handcuffs, and mace.
This is because the Metropolitan Police was founded on“policing by consent” – and they worry that guns sabotage that.
Less than ten percent of UK officers carry guns. In a year-long period up to March 2016, only seven shots were fired in England and Wales.
And a poll of officers showed 82% wanted to keep it that way.

Because corruption and violence erupt and crowded towns become like Dodge City at its worse. We currently see a lack of restraint (celebrated in many US movies). Kill shots are not appropriate for minor offences, worse over use is known to attract psychopaths seeking quasi respectable killing. When life is held to be so cheap, society changes. Vindictive raids have been made in the UK, with locals not prioritised. This is appalling Police management. Corruption in Police happens in all countries, keeping it low is the aim not using deceit to try to cover it up It does not work and the upright, helpful, lawkeeping officers are all picking up the tab. Clean up our Governments!
Wouldn't trust UK police with anything.
Because they're not really cops and can't enforce anything except laws against memes
If they carried guns then criminals would also get guns and makes it more dangerous we still have tasers and armed police if needed
That because their no gun rights in england😮
They get they ass beat 😂😂😂
Police brings guns to serious situations like an armed person with a gun or a knife because it’s a serious situation but in situations which are not really that serious police come handed with a taser baton and pepper spray
Most have Taser guns now
cuz they're muppets.
muppets can't be trusted with guns
Our countries are so soft nowadays
If uk cops carried guns a lot of them seriously risk being shot with there own weapon. They would also be attacked and ambushed for the firearm. Also if all cops were armed then all criminals would be armed…the whole thing would turn into a blood bath with numerous deaths and serious innjuries on both sides…..that's why hardly any shots are fired…..unlike the US where cops get shot and killed all the time as do civilians
Seven shoes fired.
That means more shots were fired in the us during the length of this video than in England and Wales.
Because there bell ends
Why did UK don carry guns ?? It because they arrest civilians only not criminal lol :)))
UK cops DO carry guns. They also have unarmed officers that are more like security guards in the states.
Only royal police had 100% can carry guns
And this is why the UK will fall to the Islamic invasion. Your citizens are not armed but you allow Muslims to carry knives for “ceremonial purposes”. Makes zero sense
Erm so they carry tasers baton handcuffs and parva spray
Fear not Yankee Chaps!

Or Armed Response Unit. Pretty much every Police Force in the Uk has one
In Liverpool "The Matrix". Liverpools Gang Task Force or "Gang Unit"
Really dont need to say anymore
that baton cant slice a mf with a machete
If they did they would be killing white people…🤔
It's somewhat similar in Ireland. Here only arv and detectives carry firearms. And only the arv carry rifles mainly an mp7
Firearms officers are so lethal. They don't need to.
Yall talking shit in comments honestly. Our police force carry PAVA, baton, and a CED or taser. We also have an armed response unit called MO19. They are well trained and always use the NDM, under section 3 of the criminal law act, officers MUST use the LEAST amount of force they can to achieve the same result. For example, if a firearms officer is up against someone with a knife and they charge they can use a taser or AEP/Baton gun to achieve the same result as a lethal firearm can. Our armed officers, unlike the US go over every other option before firing a round. We also take in place EHCR section 2, the right of life to persons/themselves. Also our NPFTC (National Policing firearms training curriculam) is one of the best which covers loads of training and module for a firearms officer. Every firearms officer goes thru an initial firearms course. They also gain many modules such as D13 medical level or B1/B1.2 authorisation of a firearm, B1.2 is an aith for carbine etc. so before you go talking shit about UK police, do ur reseat
