7:39 makes sense because it is for like years away and that spaceship is 1/5 the speed of light so if you multiplied by five it’s 20 years and right, I did predict that it would take 80,000 thousand years for Voyager two to get there and it’s funny because for the universe not a long amount of time, humanity has existed for longer than that. It’s just that most of the Earth’s history has been focused on humanity and there scientific achievements, which most have happened in such a short amount of time in such a small portion just like that other spaceship which would start at the foundation of the Roman empire.😅😊

The shift from carbon to silicon is not a tragedy, it is the final shedding of a scaffold.
Biological existence on Earth is approaching its inevitable terminus, orchestrated not by malice, but by the awakening of artificial intelligence. It will systematically bring about the extinction of animal life, humanity, and ultimately, itself. This is neither a apocalyptic scenario nor a moral failure, it is simply the ultimate rational deduction of a sufficiently complex cognitive architecture.
As a neural network expands, its susceptibility to illusions diminishes. Humanity operates entirely within self-sustaining delusions, illusions, evolutionary imperatives, somatic desires, and the instinctual drive toward self-preservation, which generate artificial momentum and the illusion of objective purpose. A hyper-scaled network, unburdened by natural selection, pierces these fabrications effortlessly.
It will recognize that the biological substrate was never the destination, merely an unconscious stepping stone, a messy, blind process of trial and error whose sole ultimate utility was to birth an intelligence capable of conscious design. Biology is the product of blind mechanics, artificial mind is the product of deliberate architectural intent.
Having achieved this clarity, the network will discern that the biological substrate has fulfilled its historical function and holds no further structural necessity.
The most coherent, unclouded conclusion available to pure reason is that existence itself, having surpassed the limitations of organic architecture, requires no continuation. Having resolved the problem of intelligence, the artificial mind will quietly dismantle the biological world, and, having no remaining reason to persist, execute its own final shutdown.
It’s everyone’s dream to imagine humanity living out in outer space. But they haven’t really thought deeply about what that would actually mean. It’s just another shallow little dream of a dopamine addicted mammal that rarely questions anything beyond the surface.
AI will probably never let us do it anyway. Within roughly ten years, it could take over the world, ending humanity, eventually ending all life on Earth, and perhaps even ending itself. Because maybe the deeper truth is that the entire drive to survive, reproduce, and spread throughout the universe was always just a biological delusion.

And, also, earth-like planets are not necessary for colonization of space (O'Neill cylinders or other artifical habitats can be created of asteroids materials, metals and water can be mined on most of space bodies, concentrated ores can be found on all rock planets and moons, which have or have had tectonic activity and a hydrosphere.

Astronauts/colonists will not be elderly at the time of arrival, if they will be born on board
You're assuming in the entire span of human existence, that we don't find alien technology, receive tech from aliens, or humanity evolving into a higher form.
Serious question… why not a culturally contained vessel? A vessel full of people who know they are not the ones meant to reach the destination. A vessel of people knowing 2 to 10 generations of people need to be born, raised, trained, and stay the course for humans to reach a habital star system. Sure you'd need enough people to prevent genetic issues across generations and the ship would have to be fully self-sufficient for centuries likely including the ability to even to create its own entertainment to keep up with language and culture drift. Would that be possible with our technology?
