If any non-wrestling fan sees this and liked Truth, you gotta check out some segments. You don't have to be a wrestling fan for a lot of it. Man is just a master of skit comedy, unexpected punchlines, and amping a moment up to 11. He's also great at coming across as the punchline of his own jokes, which can be rare in an industry built on ego. You don't have to be a wrestling fan to appreciate what he does, though it might help with some specific moments. Also a fantastic interviewee.
His backstage segments with Dustin Rhodes/Goldust are fantastic because they're supposed to be in the context of shit happening in the real world. In a wrestling world full of weirdos, Goldust is our Resident Weirdo – and Truth manages to ramp up the weirdness in his own unique way without stepping all over Goldust. Just know that Goldust is weird even by wrestling standards, so even if it feels like you're missing context… You're probably not. That's just Goldust. (Note: Goldust's segments with Booker T are also worth watching for the same reason – hilarious even without context and just funny on their own.)
