I love Lenore Zann to death, but this is the first episode that I really heard Bobby Hill's voice coming out of Rogue's mouth lol.
I'd like to point out that in recent years, The Eternals movie came out (Really, it did!) And the leader, who was holding a lot of secrets, was played by the immaculate and gorgeous Selma Heyak (A woman from the middle with long dark hair), a character named Ajak. Now am I saying she'd leave a celestial murder baby out in the sun to enact some sort of prophecy? No… but I'm not…. not saying that >.>

I agree about the Onslaught theory. I think Charles's outburst about how Apocalypse's mom abandoning him seems a little bit out of character for him. But not for Magneto. I think that outburst was Magneto's persona lashing out through Charles. I think they laid the groundwork for Onslaught in whatever form of a storyline they decide to take him in.

If I was in Apocalypse's position I would not have spared Charles destroy your enemy once and for all regardless of how weak and defeated they are otherwise they will return and remain a pain in the ass and speaking of returns this cap is okay and all but the true and real Captain America will return in avengers doomsday.

last season was the time for Onslaught to happen. It didn't. that was the perfect set up for him so it's not gonna happen now. Instead I think Magneto wasn't vaporized. He was transported. He will be a horseman.

I don't think the ancient Egyptians really did this, confirmed on a search they had hostility to infanticide, but there were several ancient cultures where it was relatively common to abandon deformed kids to "the elements." (I think it being an Egyptian mom was in the comics though so their hands are maybe tied. Egyptians I know were fairly benign to say dwarfs so not sure they would have really loathed a strong man who looks weird. Still I'd guess in some cases of dire poverty, or periods of chaos, infanticide occurred in Egypt) In some cases these cultures kind of fantasies of the kid being taken in by a woodsman, mountain shepherd, or even an animal. Being deformed myself due to a brittle bone disease, and having a history degree, I know a bit on this.
Also Magneto's referencing saints and last season referenced Moses. Nightcrawler, I remember you from the OG series. You really need to up your references. I'm getting tired of him just doing vague statements about faith. Mention a saint or some of the deuterocanonical books right quick boy!

This is clearly the beginning of Charles' villain arc. XD I hope he wears Magneto's helmet as Onslaught and makes Apocalypse regret not ending it there. Seriously, FANTASTIC episode and the Charles/Magneto combo in this episode was chef kiss. <3 They truly love each other and will fight to the death to defend the other. Also… this is gonna be so twisted if/when Gambit returns as Death given that moment with Rogue and Apocalypse. I almost feel he chose Gambit as a twisted "present" for her. I like how so many episodes give EACH of the X-men their own awesome moments. My only regret about the seasons are that I wish they were longer! <3
