You Just Fell Into a Black Hole… Now What?

You just fell into a black hole. Now you start to feel something…

Physicist Dr. Brian Cox explains my favorite new scientific word, “spaghettification.”

  1. I know about spaghettification but do you actually know if you die if you go into a black hole dummy i've been looking and looking and looking and looking and looking and looking for every channel and no answer

  2. This never made sense to me. Someone in a pool for example floating on their back, gets pulled by their legs, and their entire body goes with the legs

And I know people would say if the pull is many magnitudes stronger you would break apart, BUT while falling into a black hole it wouldn’t be an instant super pull, it would be gradual, taking hours. In the pool you would just go faster and faster, not stretch. But what about friction and differences in space elongation they say? Space would be moving with you, at the same rate towards the center. Like the pool water moving at the same speed as the body being pulled.

Speghetification could only happen if something of similar strength is pulling in the opposite direction.

And I got a B+ in high school physics so….
