I hen I was young there were so many things that I was shut out of. Most careers were closed to women. The stock market military all the top jobs had a glass ceiling smaller companies were allowed to only employ men. The class system barred lower classes from the best education or being hired at anything above the lower grades in government too. It's a lot more even now than then thankfully.
We've given away their jobs to AI, migrants, shipped it overseas or they've just evaporated. Some of that is good progress but shipping it overseas or giving it to migrants is not benefiting them or us.
