夢中になって見ました。短くてシンプルなストーリーだけど、いい作品だと思います。サウンドトラックもぴったりだと思います！👹
I love this so much ! I can’t help but see it as a metaphor for motherhood, especially motherhood as it is praised and almost imposed to women in society. I pretty much see it like this: A woman is depressed, and keeps hearing about the happiness of motherhood, and how having a child would melt your worries away. She decides to have a child, but only thinks about her own happiness and doesn’t expect them to need so much to grow. Also, there’s segment where Himari says that she doesn’t want Kageri to swallow other people’s blood could be Himari being a controlling mother that doesn’t want other people’s help to raise her kid. She then regrets becoming a mother because she’s not ready to become a proper parent and ends up neglecting them. Now, in my mind, either the child dies from neglect, or grows up to become a dysfunctional person and runs away from home. In the first scenario, it isn’t Kageri themselves coming back to harm their mother, but the guilt she feels for killing her child and still living happier after their death that consumes her. In the second scenario, Kageri does come back, and decides to torment their mother. It is my own idea of it tho !!
