Our log cabin building journey in Alaska continues! In our last video, we cleared trees to make room for our tent, set up a predator fence, and constructed a garage to store tools, logs, and firewood. Now that it’s midsummer the mosquitoes are out in FULL FORCE and we are desperate for a sanctuary. We don’t have power at the lot, and we are limited in the tools that we brought up here, but we’re making the best of it and learning as we go!

Haha even the Dalai Lama said: "If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito."
Proof that those Alaskan mosquitoes can test the patience of a saint! 😂
Just subbed! 👍🏻👍🏻
Alot of folks are buying land 8n Alaska.
Was a Lowes bucket in your canvas tent not your first choice for a toilet?
I just signed up as a sub today after seeing your wife digging the outhouse hole out with a gold pan. My wife is 67, and if need be, she would do the same thing today. One pro tip to avoid burning out your clutch when starting your chainsaw would be to avoid revving up your chainsaw with the chain brake on. Let it warm up a little first, and then hit the trigger only after releasing the brake,
you're gonna need some shelves in there folks….for extra TP and reading material…… good Job ! ….. Onward ……..
Love this channel & excited to see where you guys will go. I do have a question…is there a reason why you guys did not take all of your stuff with you when you came up there?

Bon courage à vous deux et merci de partager votre projet en Alaska 🙋🏻♂️🇨🇦
is this your first experience living in Alaska?
Congrats guys lotta hard work, but it paid off
Two suggestions: Even if money is tight, buy a cheap solar light with a detached solar panel so you can have a little light at night without running down flashlights.
Secondly, take the time now, before building structures and build a corduroy road. If you don't know what it is, Google it. It will save you days and days of wasted time, as well as save your vehicles. Good luck. Hang in there. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Of all the things in Alaska, mosquitoes terrify me the most
I’m so excited for you guys! Developing your property is so much work but so fun and rewarding. An outhouse is an absolute must for Alaskan summers. Good job you two 👏🏻
Good luck with everything y'all

I hate mosquitoes 😂
Will you insulate the outhouse?
What program do you use to do your design?
Budget Bill you guys did really good. You gotta do what you gotta do and like you said it’s only temporary take your time better things will come.
Awesome!!
I think you made the hole waaay too big. Make another one with a smaller hole and put an actual toilet seat on there
Good start. I wish you both nothing but success. Winter comes fast in Alaska, so the race is on. Thanks for sharing.
